Commitment
As part of the CSR policy, Treico is fully convinced that contributing to the environment through sustainable development is a way to improve humanity. For this reason, we promote an environmental and quality policy plan based on a commitment to preserve the environment and prevent pollution through the efficient use of our resources and materials.
In order to achieve these objectives, we have implemented several actions and methods of action:
Reduce and control air pollution
Comply with the legislation related to atmospheric emissions, carrying out the required periodic controls and thus complying with RD-117/2003.
Improved waste management
Specific preparation of the area for the storage of toxic hazardous waste (THW).
This conditioning protects the waste from adverse weather conditions. Inside the area, retention basins are installed to prevent possible incidents due to leaks or spills, ensuring the protection of the floor against leaks. All municipal solid waste (MSW) and THW generated by the organization will be delivered to managers authorized by the administration.
Optimization of natural resource consumption
Reduction of electricity and paper consumption, always in relation to production, addressing those environmental aspects that are significant or have the potential to be significant. To achieve this, we will seek, on the one hand, to digitize as many records as possible, revising the system’s operating procedures so that the archive gradually evolves towards a completely digital format; and, on the other, to promote the efficient use of energy among personnel, through actions such as turning off electrical equipment and lights when not in use and keeping doors and windows closed when the air conditioning or heating systems are operating.
Environmental training
Train and motivate Treico employees through courses and workshops on environmental issues.
Sustainability
Our photovoltaic
plant
generates more than 140 MWh/year.
Our self-consumption photovoltaic plant (100 kW) generates more than 140 MWh per year, of which we self-consume more than 100 MWh and the surplus is fed into the grid.
What percentage of annual electricity consumption does photovoltaic generation represent?
About 20% of the factory’s total electricity consumption.
Are there other sustainability systems in place?
Our energy comes entirely from renewable sources. This means that 100% of the electricity we consume, both generated by our photovoltaic plant and acquired from the grid, is of renewable and sustainable origin.

We also support the historic Córdoba Football Club, a symbol of passion and belonging for thousands of fans. Our commitment to the club reflects our commitment to sport as a tool for social cohesion and development in the province.
